John Cameron Fogerty nació el 28 de Mayo de 1945 en California, Estados Unidos. Es un cantante, compositor y guitarrista conocido mundialmente por haber formado parte de Creedence Clearwater Revival, uno de los grupos de rock más influyentes de la historia.
Junto a Tom Fogerty, Stu Cook y Doug Clifford creó clásicos como "Proud Mary", "Green River", "Ramble Tamble", "Travelin' Band", "Cotton Fields", "Bad Moon Rising" y "Up Around The Bend", entre otros.
